About This Project
During my 5 ½ years of working for Visionworks, the work was centered on the coding for the website and the re-platforming of the CMS code base, and maintaining day-to-day duties regarding retail needs like a change of promotional pricing content, image changes, UX changes, responsive email coding, and social content development.
I was tasked with the front-end code re-platforming migration from Oracle ATG to Oracle Commerce Cloud to adhere to the brand redesign guidelines for the Visionworks eCommerce website. This project allowed me to solve issues like file asset management issues with the site migration, updating to modernize the code structure to current responsive design methods, and integrating additional API widgets for UX enhancements.
Included in this role were the day-to-day duties of updating the digital collateral on the website to align with the retail promotional needs of the marketing department.
NOTE: I was not responsible for the Visionworks brand identity (Leo Burnett ad agency) or UI design (in-house UI designer). My role was UX code implementation of the UI design and creation of promotional digital graphics based on brand style guide.
